Iscoed Chambers are delighted to congratulate David Harris on his appointment as District Judge based at Swansea Civil Justice Centre from Monday 1st November.
David will be missed at Iscoed where he has spent the last 30 years as a member of Chambers. He has built up a very successful common law practice – recently specialising in personal injury, criminal negligence and industrial disease claims becoming a national expert in vibration white finger, mesothelioma and hearing loss cases.
District Judge Harris will continue to sit as a Recorder in the Crown Court and also as an Employment Judge on the Western Circuit.
He will be missed at Chambers for his wise counsel and supportive attitude to other members of Chambers and also for his longstanding work as Chambers Secretary and member of the management committee.
