Helen Randall

Having read Law at The Queen's College, Oxford and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University, Helen was called to the Bar in June 2010. She undertook Pupillage at Chambers and became a tenant in October 2011.


Crime
Helen has been instructed by Defence and Prosecution in both the Crown Court and Magistrates Court. She has successfully prosecuted trials in the Magistrates Court and prosecuted and defended Appeals against Conviction and Trials of Issue in the Crown Court.


Employment
Helen has experience in the Employment Tribunal, most recently successfully representing a Local Authority in an Unfair Dismissal claim.


Family
Helen has developed a keen interest in Family Law. In 2009, having been awarded a First Class grade in Family Law as part of her undergraduate degree, she was asked to be a speaker at the World Congress on Children's Rights and the Family in Nova Scotia and presented her paper on balancing the rights of parents and children in child protection cases. Helen accepts instructions in all types of Family proceedings.


Civil
Helen undertakes work on behalf of Claimants and Respondents in all areas of civil law, including housing, contractual, road traffic, personal injury and insolvency disputes, both through written and court work.
