Natasha Moran

Originally from Haverfordwest Natasha grew up in Bavaria, Germany.  She attended the local German mathematical grammar school (Adam-Kraft Gymnasium) in Schwabach before returning to the United Kingdom to complete her Higher Education.

Natasha read Law with German at The University of Sheffield. She graduated with Distinction and was awarded the Kemsley Prize for outstanding achievement. In her third year she studied German Law at the Westfällische-Wilhelms Univsersität in Münster, North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany.

Natasha went on to complete the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University where she was classed as ‘Outstanding’ in Advocacy, Legal Research, Negotiation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Professional Ethics. Continuing with her academic studies at Cardiff University she was awarded a Master of Laws in Commercial Law.

 

Family

Natasha undertakes all aspects of family law work and is regularly instructed in private law and public law Children Act disputes. In public law proceedings Natasha has experience in dealing with allegations of sexual abuse and non-accidental injuries including non-accidental head injuries to a baby as well as neglect, physical and emotional abuse and substance misuse. Natasha acts for all parties including Local Authorities, parents, Children’s Guardians, extended family members including interveners and also has experience in dealing with clients with mental health difficulties. In the private law sphere Natasha is instructed in section 8 applications involving allegations of physical and sexual abuse which often require fact finding hearings. Natasha also accepts instructions in Family Law Act applications and applications for ancillary relief.

Crime

Natasha undertakes both prosecution and defence work in the Crown Court as well as Magistrates’ Court and has appeared in the Court of Appeal. Natasha has experience in dealing with more complex issues where she successfully defended in a child cruelty case involving non-accidental injuries to a baby necessitating expert evidence. She also represents prosecuting agencies such as the Crown Prosecution Service, the National Probation Service and the Department for Work and Pension. She is happy to accept instructions for both prosecution and defence work throughout Wales.

Civil

Natasha provides advice and representation for both Claimants and Defendants in personal injury, contractual, employment and housing dispute cases. Natasha is committed to a quick turn around of papers and is happy to accept instructions on a conditional fee basis.

 

Natasha speaks fluent German and conversational French.
