Stephen Rees was educated at Clifton College in Bristol and University of Wales, Aberystwyth.  He completed pupillage at Farrar’s Building, London prior to joining Iscoed Chambers. 

He is a specialist criminal practitioner with wide experience in serious crimes including homicide, violence, fraud and sexual offences.  He appears in the Crown Court for both prosecution and defence and is a Grade 4 Prosecutor.  Stephen has been appointed to the Attorney General’s Panel of Prosecution Advocates – category A.

Stephen is also a specialist PI practitioner for both defendants and claimants.  He regularly appears in the County Court on fast track, multi track and other hearings.  He accepts instructions under conditional fee agreements and regularly appears on behalf of members of Trade Unions.  He is a member of the Personal Injury Bar Association.

Stephen is a keen sportsman and is a member at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club.
