Andrew Windross

Barrister

Andrew has developed a broad civil practice, incorporating common law (including breach of contract, defamation, industrial disease and personal injury, often involving a question of fundamental dishonesty), Chancery law (both commercial and traditional, and including commercial disputes, insolvency, landlord and tenant, mortgages, property, trusts, and wills and probate) and tribunal work (including CICA appeals, employment disputes, professional discipline hearings and school admission appeals).

Along with regular trial advocacy, Andrew is instructed to make/oppose applications for interim injunctive relief, summary judgment, strike out and relief from sanctions, and to represent parties in costs and case management conferences and appeals.

Andrew’s paper practice consists of drafting clear and concise pleadings, schedules, applications (including urgent injunctions) and opinions.
