Originating from Mumbles, Craig Jones graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge in 2003 and was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple.
He then joined Iscoed Chambers and, following completion of his pupillage with Huw Rees and Laraine Roblin, became a Tenant in 2004.
Craig enjoys a mixed Criminal and Civil practice.
He is instructed by both the Defence and Prosecution at Crown and Magistrates courts throughout South Wales. In addition to the Crown Prosecution Service, Craig regularly prosecutes for a variety of other agencies, including Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and the Department of Work and Pensions.
He has built up a good following amongst Defence Solicitors and is routinely instructed in matters of violence, serious motoring offences and drugs.
Craig’s civil practice includes PI, Licensing (he frequently acts for Local Authorities and private individuals alike), Contract and other general civil areas. He appears at the County Court at all levels, up to and including Multi-track. He accepts instruction on a Conditional Fee Basis.
Additionally, Craig is experienced at conducting cases before Courts Martial and Coroner’s Courts.
Craig is a fully qualified aeroplane and helicopter pilot.
