Kevin Riordan is a specialist Criminal Practitioner with many years of experience in serious crime. He has dealt with all types of criminal cases in particular the most serious matters of homicide, sexual and drugs offences. In recent years he has specialised in defending cases involving death by dangerous driving.
Kevin is a Grade 4 prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service and is instructed in a wide variety of cases for both prosecution and defence.
During his earlier career, Kevin spent several years in Hong Kong where he joined the Attorney General’s Chambers and was subsequently promoted to the role of Senior Crown Counsel. He prosecuted serious criminal cases throughout Hong Kong. He was also appointed Chief Legal Advisor to the Independent Commission against Corruption which was a unit set up to deal with the civil service and other forms of corruption.
Kevin is a former acting District Judge in the Birmingham and Cardiff Courts.
