Mark Spackman

Mark Spackman has a mixed civil and criminal practice at Iscoed Chambers.

His civil practice draws on his previous experience from his employment by the Treasury Solicitors Department in Commercial Litigation up to 1991.  He specialises in Insolvency and Commercial Litigation.  He regularly appears at the County Court on all sides of commercial disputes.  

Mark works regularly on other civil law areas – Personal Injury and Employment Law.  He accepts instruction on Conditional Fee Agreements.

Mark’s practice also includes significant criminal cases.  He is experienced in all aspects of Criminal Law including fraud, violence, sexual assault and drugs offences.  Mark is instructed by both defence and prosecution – he is a Grade 4 prosecutor.

Mark’s memberships include Wales Commercial Law Association and he has been an executive member of Wales & Chester Circuit Specialist Court Bar Association.

His significant cases include Gullicksen –v- Pembrokeshire County Council [2002]  2 WLR and E –v- DPP [2002] Crim LR 737.

The Legal 500 Guide to the Legal Profession for 2008 once again recommends Mark Spackman for commercial litigation and insolvency.
