Catherine Richards

Catherine has defended and prosecuted in cases across the criminal spectrum including homicide, fraud, serious sexual offences, drug offences, people trafficking, money laundering and assault.

Catherine is a grade 4 CPS prosecutor, a rape & serious sexual offences specialist and receives instructions to prosecute on behalf of the CPS Complex Casework Unit. She is recommended in Chambers & Partners in crime.

Catherine regularly receives instructions on behalf of the Police Federation.

Catherine was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.

She is a qualified advocacy trainer with Lincoln’s Inn.
