Having been called to the Bar in July 2007, Georgina joined Chambers upon successful completion of her pupillage in 2008. Georgina has since developed and expanded her practice predominantly in the area of Criminal Law.
Georgina has acted on behalf of the defence and the prosecution in a wide ramge of cases in both the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court. Her practice has included prosecuting and defending in multi-handed violence cases including robberies and Section 18, sex cases involving vulnerable adults and drug trafficking.
She has been instructed to prosecute by the Crown Prosecution Service, local authorities and the National Probation Service. Georgina is a Grade 3 Prosecutor.
Georgina has enjoyed considerable experience in employment cases and maintains a keen interest in this area. She has been involved in a variety of claims, including unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and cases under the TUPE legislation.
