Megan Jones Pupil Barrister

Iscoed Chambers are delighted to welcome Pupil barrister, Megan Jones as she starts the practising part of her pupillage.

Megan Jones was called to the Bar in 2001 and has recently joined Iscoed Chambers as a pupil.  She began her legal career with 2 years in commercial law at Eversheds before taking up a position at Swansea Magistrates Court where she was Legal Advisor for 10 years.

After taking some time out to raise her family, Megan returned to the criminal courts as a prosecutor for Dyfed Powys Police before securing pupillage at Iscoed.

Megan is a CPS Grade 1 prosecutor and will be accepting briefs to prosecute and defend in both the Magistrates and Crown Court.

Her abridged pupillage period has been spent with Paul Hobson which has provided some excellent experience in the most serious criminal cases and will set her in good stead for the future.

Away from Chambers, Megan has a busy family life which is dominated by sport.
